Note: after you installed, your system will
reboot in the user mode with apprunlock active. The desktop
is now protected and secured. Various functionality are hidden
as well, such as the start button, right click on the desktop
and the trash bin. This shows you exactly how apprunlock works
for a normal user. It keeps the user out of the files, documents
and applications where the user shouldn't be anyway. Right
click on the apprunlock icon in the system tray and you can
create your white list. Only the applications in the white
list are allowed to launch.
Reboot into admin mode (double click apprunlock
icon in the system tray and choose for admin. reboot in the
pull down menu) to gain all the functionality back. At this
point you can also uninstall normally.
