| If you choose to charge for usage of the SurferQuest
internet kiosk (all models), the following screen appears, at reboot. |
|
|
Your Customer / Guest can choose to pay by Credit Card or
by Prepaid Access Card. After Access# verification, which happens online,
your Guest can use the PC for the duration of the minutes they obtained.
This Access# is valid for a year after first use.
|
|
After the Customer / Guest made his choice of payment,
the Terms and Conditions screen appears. He can enter here the Access#
and has to agree to the Terms and Conditions.

to the Desktop and all applications |
|
After the Payment screen and the Terms and Conditions
screen the user will be directed to the Desktop from where he has access
to all residing applications. By default, the Internet kiosk has Microsoft
Works installed, but if you expect business people to use SurferQuest,
you might want to opt for Microsoft Office.
At your special request we can pre-install every application
of your choice on the SurferQuest internet kiosk.

Access |
| The system comes with a variety of Internet software pre-installed,
like Internet Explorer, Open Office containing Word Processor, Spreadsheet
and presentations, AIM, ICQ, iTunes, etc. By default each user has unrestricted
access to all available sites on the internet. |

| Equipped
for VPN connections |
| Each SurferQuest internet kiosk has the necessary software
pre-installed to set up VPN connections. Especially the modern Business
Traveler will appreciate this. |

| Secured
against Hacks and Viruses |
|
SurferQuest has developed a unique way to protect its
systems against Hacker attacks and malicious viruses. The user always
works and surfs in an isolated part of the disk that will be completely
'forgotten' as soon as the system reboots. And at the end of each session
a forced reboot will take place and the internet kiosk starts up clean
again.
Another advantage of this method is that files (and Internet
left-overs) of each user also disappear, which is important for privacy
issues.

Maintenance Free |
| SurferQuest internet kiosks 'heal themselves'. On the
Hard drive is a copy of the original configuration which will be reloaded
at each re-start. Damaged files, etc. will be replaced on the fly. Al this
copying back and forth does not slow down the system. |

(cross) Marketing possible |
| Not all the SurferQuest Internet kiosks are always in
use, so sometimes the IDLE screen will be visible. This IDLE screen is a
very cool instrument to ask extra attention for your daily offers or promotions
or maybe of your other amenities. Basically you have a billboard available
where you can even rent out advertisement space to third parties! |

| If you opt to put a SurferQuest internet kiosk in an area
where a lot of children hang out or even want the SurferQuest internet kiosk
for the children, an Internet Content filter is a good idea. |

| Access
to USB Slots |
| The front of the internet kiosk is accessable in every
design. On the front of the Dell Optiplex PC are 2 USB slots. Any external
USB1 or USB2 device can be used if Windows XP has the driver for it (WebCam,
Printer, ZIP, JAZZ, etc.) The PC already comes with a CDRW/DVD drive so
you don't need to expand with this. |

| Insured
against accidental Damage |
| Every SurferQuest internet kiosk is insured against accidental
damage. Insurance against Theft/Molest can be covered under your current
insurance or can be included in the SurferQuest Rental. |
