A Desktop or Countertop kiosk
is perfect for public access computer and public internet
access environments where a sit-down application is required.
For example: a business center in a hotel or pay per use computers
in an internet cafe.
The Pedestal kiosk does best in places
where there is little room, like a lobby.
Both have advantages;
A Desktop internet kiosk or Countertop kiosk is cheaper and
will have more usage while a Pedestal kiosk, because of the
environments it is placed in, will have more exposure. A must,
especially when you want to utilize the digital signage feature.

works also on a Laptop or notebook for over the counter rentals
in a Hotel or Hospital. Along with the laptop the guest will get
an access card which lasts for the stay or you just include the
charges into the portfolio. The laptop kiosk will automatically
be cleaned of all user left-over content, so the privacy of every
guest is secured and at the same time this feature will also make
the laptop free of maintenance.
Time Management
The access numbers can be set to
any increment. For example: if you sell or hand out a time increment
of 60 minutes, the Laptop kiosk or notebook, or any kiosk for that
matter, will stop working after an hour and the Laptop will have
to be returned back.
Hack free, virus free and disk
clutter free
The internet kiosk has a built-in
security that makes the kiosk immune for hacks, viruses and disk
clutter. This hands off solution makes the kiosk self contained.
When a user stops using the countertop kiosk, the public computer
will be wiped clean of viruses and objectionable content and the
next user has a clean PC available.
Internet kiosk software
The kiosk software is available
by download or cd as well. Just make sure you install the internet
kiosk software on a freshly formatted machine.
