Public Computer Access
SurferQuest public access Software protects the user privacy and maintains the computer to the extend that no IT staff needs to check, clean or update the systems. SurferQuest turns the public access computer into a locked down, hands off solution and is suited to operate in 24/7 unmanned environments.
Auto Clean after every use
The guest is guaranteed that everything he does on the PC is wiped out after the session is over. This does not affect the functionality of the computer and your guest will find that the computer will allow everything he or she is used to on his own computer.
Time Management
To control the time your computers will be occupied by each individual user, you can set time limits. For example: each computer allows access for 15, 30 or 60 minutes allowing the next user to benefit from this amenity as well.
Lock Down
You can choose to offer 'browse internet only' or you can offer computer access. Computer access will also allow you to offer access to Microsoft Office or other applications. There is a third option which is more and more popular these days: that is when the system needs to boot up into one specific web site or application and is not allowed to browse to other web sites or launch and run other applications.
Charge per Use
SurferQuest allows you to charge for use. Purchases for time can be made directly at the public access computer. The software accepts Credit Cards and Prepaid Cards. You are in control of the rates and revenue.
Pay per Print
To rectify the investment of making a printer available to your Guests, you can charge for printing. As an add-on to Full Throttle (allows charging for use of the computer) you can choose to charge in minutes and or in CC payments. As an add-on to SurferQuest Light, Pay-per-Print allows you to charge your guest by CC. A card reader should be attached tothe public access computer ensuring a smooth process.
