Security
The SQ software protects against
hacks, viruses, disk clutter and roaming over the internal
network. On top of that it clears out every bit of user left-over-content
after a session is ended, keeping all the work that your guest
performed on the internet terminal, confidential.
Time Management
It is a good thing to control
the time a user can spend on the internet terminal in your
business center. Just because you don't want this one guest
to occupy the public internet access terminal all evening.
Pre-defined time increments ends the user session when the
allocated time is up.
Charge usage or provide for
free
SurferQuest also includes
a payment portal that accepts credit card and prepaid card
payments. A user would swipe his card and the payment is
processed. After approval, the guest will have access to all
features of Windows XP and the computer, leaving access to
all drives open on the internet terminal.
Hardware
SurferQuest can be installed
on every computer as long as it will run under Windows XP.

the countertop seems the best choice. It has a card reader
